School Counseling

  • School Counselor

The core of our work at HSC rests in the understanding that we are preparing students for life beyond HSC. We know that when students fully engage in the learning community, including its systems and commitments, they increase their ability to maximize their potential after graduation.  High school isn't easy, but Jess and Chris are here to help students and families make sense of life, school, and everything in between.

    NHPS Mission Statement

The NHPS Comprehensive School Counseling Program provides all students with a program that specifically addresses every student's academic, personal/social, and career planning needs in a safe and supportive environment.

    NHPS Vision

The NHPS Comprehensive School Counseling Program addresses the developmental needs of all students in a culturally responsive and inclusive manner. It is based on the overarching belief that all students can reach their potential as productive citizens when provided with equitable access to academic preparation and social/emotional support services that prepare them for post-secondary and vocational opportunities. The comprehensive school counseling program is integral to the total school program because it helps promote and support high levels of student achievement in academic, interpersonal, and career planning domains.
