The School Planning and Management Team (SPMT) engages in critical dialogue around teaching and learning and student progress with in the school. Members of the team include administrators, teachers, support staff, parents and students. The SPMT is the lead decision-
making and planning body of the school. Team members work to build a community where all members have a voice in the decision-making process. The SMPT sets the tone for all other teams and the entire school. Its members engage in the work using three core principals: collaboration, consensus and no-fault problem solving. (McLaughlin, Ennis, & Hernandez, 2004).

The Wilbur Cross SPMT meets one time per month, typically the last Monday of the month, in the Library from 2:30-4:00p.m. Administrators, Academy Leads, Department Leads, PTSO and Community Partners are in regular attendance. Anyone in the Cross community is welcome to attend the monthly meetings.
