Seniors will be given their 5 tickets (graduates themselves do not need one) this Friday along with their Cap and Gown and Lawn Signs. Students should arrive at Cross by 8:00 on Friday for Senior Breakfast and Graduation prep.
-
Seniors must clear all financial and school obligations in order to graduate:
-
Passing all necessary classes
-
Completing capstone
-
Paying Senior Dues
-
Returning any school technology, books and returnable materials or paying associated fees.
-
-
The Graduation will be held outdoors at the field, rain or shine. Only dangerous weather conditions would force its postponement.
-
Seniors will have a practice on the field and stage at 8:00 on Monday. They will be dismissed by 11:00. They do not need to wear Cap and Gown for practice.
-
Students return to Cross no later than 1:30 pm Monday in their Cap and Gown. If they wish to have school staff take their portrait (for free) they should return by 12:30 pm.
-
Students MUST wear their Cap and Gown to participate in graduation. No spiky/stiletto shoes will be allowed on the field.
-
Families will be allowed in the venue starting at 1:30. Many will arrive earlier to line up for entry. All families will pass through security screening to enter. Anyone over the age of 2 must have a ticket.
-
Parking is limited in the field, tennis courts and school parking lots. Remaining parking will need to be found on streets off Mitchell Drive. Please leave time for parking, walking to the field and security screening. Graduation will start promptly at 2:30
-
While additional bleachers are brought to the field, available seating fills up early. There will be many who will need to stand along the fence to the left and right of the bleachers. Again, if you must have a seat, come early!
-
Any balloons that are brought for graduates will need to be tied up on the highest part of the bleachers so as not to obstruct the view of others.
-
At the conclusion of the graduation, families can meet their graduates near the basketball and tennis courts. Families should not venture onto the field.
-
The ceremony will last approximately 90 minutes
